Devlog 024 / Project
October in Pictures

It has been another busy couple of weeks working on Project Tourge. Today I wanted to share eleven recent screenshots and give you a look at the game as it stands in October.
There is more development work to talk about, but sometimes it is nice to stop writing about the systems and just show the cars. All the images in this post were captured in-game on October 12 and 14.
A night at the station
The fuel station makes a good place to stop and take a few pictures. Bright canopy lights, wet pavement and a dark car give these shots a very different feel from an open road in daylight.

I like seeing a build in these ordinary places. A car does not need to be mid-drift in every screenshot. Pulling in, parking and finding an angle is part of the appeal too.

Different builds, different character
The idea behind Project Tourge has always been to give players a car they can make their own. The recent pictures show a few different directions, from the green coupe on the cover to a blue build with its engine bay exposed.

The last devlog covered the larger engine selection, audio changes and the other systems that have been receiving work. Those are still central to the project. A build should have its own character when you drive it and hear it, as well as when you look at it.
Visual customization is still a work in progress. These are snapshots of the current game while that work continues.

Out in daylight
The daylight shot gives a clearer look at another build: a pale-yellow coupe with dark wheels and a large rear wing. It is a simple contrast to the rain and station lighting in the other images.

There is still plenty I want to improve, and I will keep sharing the game as it develops. These posts are also a chance to hear what catches your eye and what you would like to see more of.
Development and private testing
Project Tourge is currently in private testing. Only I and people I personally give access to can play the current builds. There is no public purchase or download available.
Work continues on content, the map, improvements and fixes. I will keep showing that progress through the devlogs and screenshots.
If you have been invited to test, thank you. Feedback on how the cars feel, how the game runs and where something needs work helps me decide what to tackle next. Everyone can follow the project and discuss the updates in the Discord.
